The crushing box is made up from a fixed jaw and a single toggle jaw. The toggle jaw is mounted to an eccentric shaft which creates an oscillating motion. The toggle jaw pushes the material against the fixed jaw and crushes it down to the set size. The machine is powered by a Hatz 3 cylinder Diesel engine which directly drives the crusher flywheel using a belt.
You can set the jaw to different sizes depending on what size crushed concrete you want. It’s a very simple but effective way of breaking up large chunks of concrete and recycling them to make them into a usable product to put down as a sub base – cheap and environmentally friendly!
